03. Veterans & Active Duty Military

We have solemn obligation to our Veterans and active duty military for their service on behalf of our Country. Measures to adequately compensate our service men and women, such as the 2008 GI Bill which includes increased benefits for college education, are long overdue. While the President recently signed the new GI Bill into law, our current Congressman, Gus Bilirakis, voted against the bill. Veterans and our brave service men and women deserve better representation and real appreciation, rather than the empty rhetoric they have received.
