JOHN DICKS LABELED AS DCCC’S TOP 20 EMERGING RACES
FLORIDA- The John Dicks for Congress campaign is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of the top 20 emerging races in the country. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, known as the DCCC, monitors Congressional races and supports candidates it feels have the best opportunity to win in November. Although the Primary for Florida's 9th district includes 3 contenders, Dicks was the only candidate featured in today's announcement.
"In each of these races, Democratic candidates have generated excitement in their districts for their campaigns for change," the DCCC announced in a statement released today.
"We are honored to have garnered endorsements from key elected officials across the district, and we have put together a top notch Florida based team," said Dicks. "District 9 deserves better than the ineffective leadership that has led to record gas prices, record home foreclosures and record deficits. I will work to bring about change and create a better, stronger, safer America."
